The Webinar titled “Introduction to Advanced Electronics in Aviation” was organized to enrich the knowledge of Aerospace students to get exposure to how Aerospace and defense industries rely heavily on advanced electronic systems for field communications, controls and targeting systems, threat detection, asset tracking and health monitoring.
The program was started at 10.00 AM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by the introduction of the resource person Mr R Ramesh Babu by Mr.Siva J, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about Advanced Electronics in Aviation Industries. Also, he explains the application of Electronic systems design for aerospace industries.

The Webinar titled “Introduction to Advanced Electronics in Aviation” was organized to enrich the knowledge in the journey of aircraft control systems as they have evolved through various generations. The webinar has taken a closer look towards the future of flight control surfaces examining the most recent researches which anticipate a future aircraft achieving comparable if not improved efficiency but with no flight surfaces.
The program was started at 02.30 PM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by the introduction of the resource person Dr Achintya Krishna Sarkar by Mr Siva J, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about the Evolution of flight vehicle control. Also, he explains the following areas in flight vehicle controls.

- The new era (second generation) of speed-breaking the sound barrier-Hydro mechanical,

The Webinar titled “System Tool Kit Software” was organized to enrich the knowledge of Aerospace students to get exposure on STK Software.
The program was started at 11.00 AM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by introduction of the resource person Mr. Dhanish from SS Technologies by Mr. J Siva, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about the fundamentals of STK Software and its applications in space and military systems. Systems Tool Kit (STK) is the premier software for providing four-dimensional modeling, simulation, and analysis of objects from land, sea, air, and space in order to evaluate system performance in real or simulated-time. The contents of this talk were related to complex analyses of ground, sea, air, and space assets, and share results in one integrated solution. The resource person shared the information about the importance of the following aspects.
- The core of STK is a geometry engine for determining the time-dynamic position and attitude of objects.
- The spatial relationships among the objects under consideration including their relationships or accesses given a number of complex, simultaneous constraining conditions.
- To solve problems involving Earth-orbiting satellites.
- Applications in the aerospace and defense communities
In between interaction with students and questionnaire to test the ability of students and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skills through different case studies as it’s still beginning vast domain. The resource person handled an interactive session about the knowledge and experience of process of servicing and calibration of equipments. The resource person discussed about handling and maintenance of equipments. Outcome of the Program :
Innovation and Entrepreneurship plays a major to establish Digital India. It was primarily focused on motivating students towards innovation and to encourage the upcoming graduates to become entrepreneurs.
Concept of what innovative ideas meant was beautifully explained by speaker. The speaker spoke about the self motivation which every entrepreneur must have. The talk primarily focused on the importance of having confidence to face the negative challenges and about the restlessness that one should come up with for implementing some simple innovative ideas. The speaker encouraged the audience to inculcate the qualities of identifying, adopting and also seeking solution for problems that is commonly faced by entrepreneurs.
Overall the session was informative to the students. The speaker motivated students to focus on innovations and mainly emphasized the importance of becoming an entrepreneur.

IOT EXPO Show, India Electronics Week

Outcome of the Program :
IOTshow is an event where the Enablers, the Creators, the Integrators and the Customers of IOT come together. The unique feature of the show is that while most IOT event focuses only on connecting the Creators of IOT solutions with Enterprise Customers, IoTshow started by connecting the Enablers with the Creators of IOT solutions.
IOT show expanded its scope to connect the Creators with the Integrators and Enterprise Customers. Add to that the Start-Up zone, a special exhibiting zone to provide a platform for upcoming IoT companies to showcase their solutions.
The Show was held for three days from 13th To 15th Of Feb 2020. We attended on 15-02-2020.
The main concern of attending was to know about “The latest trends in the field of IoT”. There were 60+ Company’s participated in the Event. Some of the key category of Exhibitors are-Electronics Components Supplier, Embedded Systems H/W Supplier, Embedded Systems S/W Suppliers, Desktop Manufacturing Equipment Supplier, etc. From Our Class 20 Students has attended the Event.
We also attended the Seminar on “Iot For Beginners, A Practical Approach”. Finally, by attending this event we got the ideas related to Iot and the projects based On IoT.
