He got his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Davangere, and Masters in CAD/CAM from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati.

He worked on Tribological performance of Sintered Aluminum – Beryl Metal Matrix composites under Dr. K. Venkateswarlu, Principal Scientist, National Aerospace Laboratories.He has 13 International Journal Publications of very high repute to his credit. One of his publications was awarded as the Best paper in NIT, Tiruchirapalli. He has authored a book on “Computer Integrated Manufacturing”

Presently he is heading Center of Excellence in Computer Integrated Manufacturing in Global Academy of Technology, and as the convener for Institute Innovation Center, an initiative of MHRD, New Delhi established in Global Academy of Technology.

His research areas include Powder Metallurgy, Design of Experiments, Artificial Neural Networks, Additive Manufacturing, and Finite Element Analysis.

He worked in various administrative positions at the university level.

He was the resource person for Board of Studies, Visveswaraya Technological University, Karnataka and rendered his services as a member in Board of Examiner.

During this time involved in development of Automation Framework so it is easily integrated with any CI tool. Integrated the automation framework with CI like Team City and Jenkins. Gained significant experience in Health care products like Electronic Lab notebook, Work Request etc and its workflow process.
