About the Event:
The Aeronautical Engineering department organized a workshop on Drone Design and Aviation on 27th June 2023. The program was started at 10.45 AM with the welcome speech and introduction about the guest by Dr.G.Ramanan, HOD, AE Department. The resource person handled an interactive session about research efforts related to the modeling, flight dynamics, design, mission, and manufacturing of various sizes of drones, such as unmanned air vehicles (UAV), micro-unmanned air vehicles (μUAV), micro air vehicles (MAV), and nano air vehicles (NAV). Additionally, different types of drones, including fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and flapping-wing systems, are explained to the students. He also presented about to introduce new concepts, modeling and control strategies, and effective designs of drones in addition to understanding all the relevant aspects of drone development, stability, and manufacturing. At the end of session the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.Albert Allen, Assistant Professor, AE Dept. The entire programme was co-ordinate with the support of the management, Principal, faculty, Professors and students of the Aeronautical Engineering, ACSCE.
