Biomedical Engineers’ Day 2025
The Biomedical Engineers’ Day 2025 was organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, ACS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, on 4th December 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the 3rd Floor Seminar Hall, ACSCE. The event was conducted in collaboration with professional bodies such as IEEE and IEEE EMBS, with the objective of promoting awareness, innovation, and professional excellence in the field of biomedical engineering.
The program was graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr. Shyam Vasudeva Rao, Founder and Director of Forus Health Pvt. Ltd., as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Prakash M. S, Professor and HOD, Department of Nephrology, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital, as the Guest of Honour. The event was held under the guidance of respected management and academic leaders, including the Chief Patron, Co-Patron, Executive Director, Principal, Vice Principal, and the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
Major highlights of the celebration included the Project Expo, where students showcased their innovative biomedical projects, and the BME Health Check-up, which emphasized the social responsibility of biomedical engineers toward community health. These activities provided students with an excellent platform to demonstrate technical skills, creativity, and teamwork.
The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members and student coordinators, with enthusiastic participation from students and staff. Overall, the Biomedical Engineers’ Day 2025 was a grand success, fostering academic growth, professional interaction, and increased awareness of the vital role of biomedical engineers in healthcare and society.
