About the Event
The Department of Aerospace Engineering, ACS College of Engineering has organized a technical seminar on “ Accomplishments in space research and Applications – Global and Indian scenario” on 19th April 2022 in view of the First Indian Satellite Launch Day celebration.
The Program was started at 11:00 AM with the welcome address by the student representative Ms. Sangeetha, III year Aerospace Engineering followed by the Chief Guest Introduction by Mr. Supretej, III year Aerospace Engineering. Mr. G. R. Sandeep, Assistant Professor, greeted the resource person with memento and bouquet. Then the chief guest has started the session with the thank note to Dr. Mukesh R, Head of the Department, Aerospace Engineering. The resource person has explained about the following points;
- Todays significance in space history
- Contribution of Aryabhatta
- Orbits, satellites, need of space mission and research
- Overview of space activities and Indian space programme
- ISRO space missions
- IRNSS,ISS, HSP
- Recent space Events
At the end of the session, students actively interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts. Finally the session ended with the vote of thanks by the student representative.
