About the Event:
The department of Aeronautical Engineering organized a seminar on Verification and Validation of Complex Aircraft Systems on 16th February 2023. The program was started at 10.30 AM with the welcome speech and introduction about the guest by Dr.G.Ramanan, HOD, AE Department. The resource person explained that the verification stage is the evaluation process where a product is assessed on whether it meets its specific goals or requirements during the developmental process. The validation stage of a product ensures that the product fulfills the needs and expectations that the developers intended it to meet at its completion. Verification is for prevention of errors. Validation is for detection of errors. Verification is also termed as white box testing or static testing as work product goes through reviews. Validation can be termed as black box testing or dynamic testing as work product is executed. At the end of session the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.Satish Hiremath, Assistant Professor, AE Dept. The entire
programme was co-ordinate with the support of the management, Principal, faculty, Professors and students of the Aeronautical Engineering, ACSCE.
