About the Seminar:
This Seminar on “Unstructured Data Based Finite Volume Computations for Industrial Configurations”was organized in to motivate and impart knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics to the students.
The Program was started at 10:30AM with the welcome address by Ms. Sangeetha of IV year Aerospace Engineering. Then Prof, P. Soma ,honored the resource person with the bouquet and memento. Mr.Supretej of IV year Aerospace Engineering introduced the the Resource person and the technical seminar has started.
The resource person handled a very informative session and highlighted the following points,
- Introduction to Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Grid Types and Meshing
- Navier Stroke equations and its solutions
- Finite Volume Approximations
- Case Study : AIAA – Drag Reduction (CFD) workshop
- Opportunities for engineering graduates in CFD domain
At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts in the topic and the resource person motivated the students to enhance their skills and focus on space applications.Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly informative and interesting. Finally the session ended with the vote of thanks by Dr.R.Mukesh, Head of the Department.
