Parents-Teachers meeting was organized by the Department of Basic Sciences in association with Rajarajeswari group of institutions at ACSCE on 22nd October 2016, wherein parents of nearly 52 students have actively participated and discussed the progress and other academic activities of their wards. Dr. Selvanandan, HOD, Dept. of Physics, Mr. Shivakumar M.S, HOD, Dept. of Chemistry, Dr. Veena B.H, HOD, Dept. of Mathematics, and Dr. Pradeepa S.M, Dept. of Chemistry stood as the event coordinators for first year B.E students.
During our interaction we have shown the progress reports of their ward and informed all the parents about the need and the importance of this meeting. We requested the parents to give more attention towards their children studies and told to encourage them by proper guidance. The parents have gathered more information about their children by interacting with the class teachers of all the sections. Furthermore, all the visited parents have given a positive feedback about the meeting and also towards our continuous effort in improving the quality of the education. Finally, the Department of Basic Sciences thanks our management Rajarajeswari group of institutions for giving the permission and providing the necessary support.
