27th April of 2016 can go down as one of the most remembered day in ACSCE for the spectacular inauguration of the SAE collegiate Club held at seminar Hall- I that commenced on 10.30 AM. The function was bolstered by the presence of the Mr. K P Murthy and Mr. Purushotham S Joshi. The appearance of Dr. Gopalakrishnan Nair, Rector, RRGI added spice to the remarkable event. Further notable presence were Dr. M S Murali, Principal, ACSCE, Prof.. R R Elangovan , Vice Principal (admin) & HoD – Aero and Prof. Prasanna Kumar, Vice Principal (Academics).
The event was co-ordinated on the stage by Ms. Yashashwini, Member of SAE-ACSCE Collegiate Club who commenced it with a spiritual invocation song by Ms. Shobha, Member of SAE-ACSCE Collegiate Club, followed by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries to mark the commencement of the programme.
The welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Vinila Nadugouda, Asst. Treasurer of SAE-ACSCE Collegiate Club. The Chief guest Mr K P Murthy and Special Guest Mr. Purushotham S Joshi were introduced to the audience with their achievements by Mr. Sattyaki Sinha , Member of SAE-ACSCE Collegiate Club and Mr. Anoop Karpur, Convenor of SAE-ACSCE Collegiate Club. The guests were then honoured by the Dr. Gopalakrishnan Nair, The Rector and Dr. M.S Murali, The Principal . The inaugraution , the heart of the program, Cutting the ribbon and declaring the SAE Cell officially open was done by Mr. K P Murthy.
Dr. Gopalakrishnan Nair then took over the stage to inspire the audience with his indigenous ideas of manufacturing Composite car which he felt to be the need of the hour. Dr. M S Murali then congratulated the active participation from the department and also said that he was sure that the club would definitely bring laurels to the prestigious institution. Prof. R R Elangovan elightened the audience with his idea of extending the application of UAV in space missions.
Mr. K P Murthy Spoke few words about the nature and responsibilities of the club. He also briefed out about the advantages of being as a member in the esteemed Club. The office bearers of the club were then appointed. Mr. Purushotham S Joshi then delivered a technicial talk on “ Design Of All Terrain Vehicle (ATV)”. Mr. Neril Lester Lobo, Chair person of SAE-ACSCE Collegiate Club, enthralled with his fabulous speech about the objectives and responsibilities of the club. The Vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Nisarga, Treasurer of SAE-ACSCE Collegiate Club marking the end of the programme
The management joins hands with all the faculties, staff and students in extending very warm wishes to the students for got placements in reputed company.
