About the Webinar
A few minutes of Yoga during the day can be a great way to get rid of stress that accumulates daily-in both the body and mind. Yoga postures, Pranayama and meditation are effective techniques to release stress. Meditation is Relaxation which gives calm mind, good concentration and Rejuvenation of the body and mind etc. Particularly for a working People, Yoga is a great remedy to remove our tensions which definitely affects our health.
With COVID-19 social distancing and ‘stay at home’ directives, one can easily feel isolated, anxious, and in desperate need of a relaxing activity and some social contact.
In view of this ‘Yoga is the artwork of awareness on the canvas of body, mind and soul’. To help keep the Faculties and students healthy in body and mind, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, ACS College of Engineering, Bangalore, has organized webinar on “Yoga and Meditation” 20/May/2020 for Faculties and students. The Yoga Guru Mr. Surayakrsna Thever and Meditation Mrs Namitha Sudarshan have taken classes with high level of dedication. They have also explained remedies for personal health problems to the participants with lot of patience.
Aim:
To make the faculty and students physically and mentally healthier, saner to become more integrated members of the society and of the nation.

IIC – National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) for Students and Faculties in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs)
The first e-session (MIC Driven) is scheduled from 28th April 2020 at 3.00 PM and will focus on “National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) for Students and Faculties in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs)” by Shri Dipan Sahu, Asst. Innovation Director, MHRD’s Innovation Cell, and National Coordinator of NISP, ARIIA, and IIC.
These sessions will now be telecasted on MIC Youtube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/mhrdinnovationcell) from 28th April Onwards at 3.00 PM.
Post session , participants can download the PPT and will be required to submit the e-assessment form within 4 working days from the date of conduct of that particular e-session to get an e-participation certificate ( will be issued by end of IIC Calendar Year 2019-20 i.e June 2020).
Guidelines:
No Prior Registration is required to attend the e-sessions and you can use your smartphone and laptop/desktop.
The time slot for the e-sessions are 3.00 PM to 4.00 PM ( except Saturday and Sunday) from 28th April 2020 onwards, except saturdays and sundays.

Instructions to students for the submission of Revaluation / Photocopy application
to College :
Don’ts:
1. Students should not make online payment to the university directly.
2. Students should not send their information to the University directly.
Do’s
1. A format with necessary instructions is enclosed.
2. A printout of the application is to be taken and after filling the required data students must submit the application to the college by email.
3. If the printing facility is not available to a student, he / she shall “write by hand all the required data as per application format in a sheet legibly, put his / her signature” and scan the same by using cam scanner or similar mobile Apps or take snap of the same and send it to the college by email.
4. The application has to be filled and send to the college either by email or as per the instruction issued by the college.
5. If there is a provision made by the college to make online payment of revaluation fee, students can make payment of revaluation fee online to the college, if not, they need to make the payment of fee once the college reopens.
6. UG COURSES Fee for Revaluation is Rs. 400/- per subject and for Photocopy is Rs.300/- per subject and Application Fee of Rs.20/- per candidate.
7. PG COURSES – There is no facility to opt for Photocopy, fee for Revaluation is Rs.3000/- per subject and application of Rs.20/- per candidate
8. All the students are eligible to apply for Revaluation in any number of theory subjects.
9. All the students are eligible to apply for Photocopy of answer scripts in any number of theory subjects (excluding the scripts attached with drawing sheets).

About the Event:
Institution’s Innovation Council, ACS College of Engineering was organised Webinar and Ideathon on 5G for ACS Students on 23rd & 24th Apr 2020. Around 75 students and faculty members were attended. Dr.Ramanan, President-IIC welcomed all the participants and then Dr.G.Vinoth addressed about the Ideathon process on 5G. This Hackathon was aimed at shortlisting India focussed cutting edge ideas that can be converted into workable 5G products and solutions. He explained the importance of this technology and the main involvement of this webinar on 5G (Fifth Generation) mobile network which is seen as user-centric concept instead of operator-centric as in 3G or service-centric concept as seen for 4G. He also proposed the mobile user is on the top of all. The 5G terminals will have software defined radios and modulation scheme as well as new error-control schemes can be downloaded from the Internet on the run. The development is seen towards the user terminals as a focus of the 5G mobile networks. He motivated all IIC students to participated in this hackathon and submit the ideas.
He explained the process of 5G Hackathon and how to convert innovating ideas into products and solutions in different verticals and develop India specific Use cases around 5G. Various phases of the Hackathon broadly include preliminary submission of ideas, selection of 100 best ideas, mentorship and support from the Hackathon partners, development of solutions/products, selection and testing of 30 best solutions/ products on 5G trial network followed by felicitation of the 3 best ideas during India Mobile Congress (IMC), 2020. He informed that all students or faculty can develop 5G solutions from across 10 categories including Healthcare, Education & Governance, AgriTech & Livestock, Environment, Public Safety & Disaster Management Enterprise, Smart Cities & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Banking, Finance & Insurance, Logistics & Transportation, Multimedia & Broadcast, among others
