About the Webinar
The Webinar titled “Indian NavIC another GNSS research analysis and challenges” was organized by Aerospace department in association with the members of Astrophysics club to help the students in understanding the significance of indigenous navigation systems and their advancements.
The program started at 2.00 PM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS.and trailed by introduction of the key speaker Dr. Naveen Kumar Perumalla (Osmania University) by Dr. Theerthamalai, DEAN/Prof./AS. The resource person opens the session with details about the development of Navigation system in INDIA followed by introduction on NavIC systems. The contents of this lecture were related to all the research applications of domestically made navigational systems in

- Emergency Response teams and
- Marine Applications
The interaction between the key speaker and the participants includes but not limited to communication with students and multiple questionnaire from both the students and participants. The students conveyed that this program inspired them to develop their career in indigenous scientific advancements field. Finally, the webinar was ended with vote of thanks by HOD/AS.
