About the Programme:
Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the Students Technical Symposium-TECHNOMANIA-2K18 under SPARK in association with SAE club on 29th September 2018. The inauguration was held at ACS seminar hall 2nd floor from 10.30 am to 11:15 am. The dignitaries on the dais present were: President of the event Dr. M.S. Murali, Principal, ACSCE, Chief Guest Dr. Paul Vizhian S, Professor, UVCE, Bengaluru, Dr. Siddesha H S, Head Of the Department, Mechanical engineering, Convenors Dr. Suresh P M, Professor, PG coordinator and R&D and Dr. R Sivasubramanyam, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The flow of the Event is as follows:
The Program started with an Invocation song by Students Nikitha & Manisha Manhoran of 5th semester Mechanical Engineering, followed by Lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and welcome speech by Prof. Sunil Raj B A, about TECHNOMANIA-2K18 by convener Dr. Suresh P M. Professor, PG coordinator and R&D.
During the inauguration ceremony, Departmental News Letter for 2017-18 was released both in hard copy and CD by the Chief Guest, Principal, HOD and Convenors.
Dr. M.S. Murali, Principal, delivered the presidential address to the gathering, Dr. Siddesha H S, Head of the Department introduce the chief Guest Dr. Paul Vizhian S, Professor, UVCE, Bengaluru. Chief Guest addressed the gathering with interesting taxonomy of 4C principle in student life.
The Vote of thanks was delivered by the convener Dr. R Sivasubramanyam Associate professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Later the events were started in different halls: PAPER PRESENTATION, TECHNICAL QUIZ, PENCIL SKETCHING, DEBATE and PUBG TOURNAMENT.
Around 200 students participated in various events. Students from RRCE, RVCE, AIEMS colleges also participated in the events. All the events were concluded at 4:00 PM.
