About the Program
The Department of Aerospace Engineering in association with Design Modelling and Analysis club has organized the Technical Training on Aerospace Vehicle Design tools to enhance the knowledge of Aerospace Engineering students in Design tools namely CATIA and Solid Works.
Mr. M. Sivaramraj took over the session for training the students in CATIA design software. He has demonstrated various tools available in CATIA and Solid Works and techniques to visualize every mechanical part. The space shuttle assembly procedure was explained to the students.
At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts in the topic and the resource person motivated the students to practice the software and get expertise. Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly informative and interesting. Finally the session ended with the vote of thanks.
