About the Program
A teacher is a person who plays a pivotal role in molding a student’s life. A teacher imparts not only academic knowledge but also shares ethical values, and imbibes morality that shapes our personality as a better human being.
In India, Teachers Day is celebrated on 5th September every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – First Vice President of India. Teaching is the profession that teaches all other professions.
On the vocation of teacher’s day, students of ACS college of Engineering have organized a function for all the faculties on 5/9/2019. The program began with invocation song and lighting of lamp infront of Portrait of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan followed by Welcome and Bouquet presentation to the Principal and all faculty members.
Respected Principal, Dr. M. S Murali , motivated all the faculties by his speech and paid gratitude for their hard work . Students shared their views towards respective teachers through poetry, speech and songs. Games were conducted for faculties which made teachers to enjoy and refresh themselves.
At the end of the day, there was a cake cutting celebration from principal.
The overall celebration was memorable and all teachers thanked students who spared time to honour their teachers.
