The webinar aimed to introduce students to emerging Artificial Intelligence technologies and their practical applications in solving real-world challenges. The session provided an in-depth understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), a powerful AI framework that enhances the capabilities of large language models by integrating external knowledge sources to generate accurate, context-aware, and reliable responses.

The speakers shared valuable insights into the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, machine learning applications, and the growing importance of RAG in developing intelligent and efficient AI-driven solutions. The interactive session encouraged active participation from students and provided them with practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of the industry.

The webinar was coordinated by Dr. N. Durga Indira and Mrs. Aishwarya L. K, who ensured the successful execution of the program. Students of the ECE Department actively participated in the webinar and gained valuable knowledge about next-generation AI technologies, industry trends, and future career opportunities in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

The ACS Institution’s Innovation Council (ACSIIC), Dr. ACS College of Engineering, successfully organized a workshop on “Accelerators / Incubation Opportunities for Startup Aspirants” on 02nd June 2026 at the 4th Floor Seminar Hall, ACSCE Campus.

The workshop aimed to create awareness among students about startup incubation, accelerator programs, entrepreneurship opportunities, and innovation-driven business ecosystems. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The resource person for the session was Mr. Lokesh B S, Mentor – IIC, RRGI, Founder and Startup Consultant, Agasthiya Academy, Bangalore. He shared valuable insights on startup development, incubation support systems, funding opportunities, innovation management, and the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s competitive world.

During the interactive session, participants gained practical knowledge about transforming innovative ideas into successful startup ventures through incubation centers, mentorship programs, and accelerator initiatives. The workshop also highlighted government and institutional support available for startup aspirants.

Dr. ACS College of Engineering continues to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and startup culture among students through impactful academic and industry-oriented initiatives.

Session 2 – Conference by Dr. Windhya Rankothge

Dr. ACS College of Engineering successfully organized an international expert session by Dr. Windhya Rankothge, Cybersecurity GRC Specialist at the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity, Canada, as part of the International Conference on “Advances in Computing Systems, Communication and Networking (ACSCON – 2026)” held on 29th May 2026.

The online session was conducted from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals.

During the session, Dr. Windhya Rankothge shared valuable insights on Cybersecurity, Cyber Risk Intelligence, Cloud Security, Blockchain-based Supply Chain Security, and emerging trends in Networking and Cloud Computing. She highlighted the importance of secure digital infrastructure and discussed current challenges and future opportunities in cybersecurity and advanced communication systems.

The session provided participants with international exposure to recent developments in cybersecurity technologies and risk management practices. The interaction enabled students and researchers to gain deeper knowledge about industry expectations, global cybersecurity frameworks, and research opportunities in the field.

Dr. ACS College of Engineering successfully organized an insightful international expert session by Dr. Ross Smith, Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts (RSA), Co-founder of Future World Alliance USA, Distinguished Technology Leader, Inventor, and Researcher, as part of the International Conference on “Advances in Computing Systems, Communication and Networking (ACSCON – 2026)” held on 29th May 2026.

The session was conducted in online mode from 12:05 PM to 1:00 PM and witnessed active participation from students, faculty members, researchers, and academicians.

Dr. Ross Smith shared valuable insights on emerging technologies, Artificial Intelligence, automation, workforce transformation, and the future of innovation in computing systems and networking. Drawing from over 30 years of experience at Microsoft and his extensive global leadership journey, he inspired participants with real-world perspectives on technology-driven transformation and innovation ecosystems.

The session provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to gain international exposure and understand current advancements in AI, automation, cybersecurity, and future technologies.

The session will be delivered by Dr. B.S. Shylaja, Principal, Dr. ACS College of Engineering, who will share valuable insights on Outcome Based Education (OBE), teaching methodologies, and strategies to enhance student learning outcomes in higher education.

Farewell Party 2026 Successfully Conducted
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Dr. ACS College of Engineering successfully conducted the Farewell Party 2026 on 18th May 2026 at the 3rd Floor Seminar Hall, Dr. ACSCE.

The event was organized to bid a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing students and celebrate their memorable academic journey at ACSCE. The program was filled with enthusiasm, cultural activities, music, fun games, and emotional moments shared among students and faculty members.

Faculty members addressed the gathering and conveyed their best wishes to the graduating students for a successful future in their professional and personal endeavors. The event created a joyful and memorable atmosphere, strengthening the bond between juniors, seniors, and faculty.

The Department expressed sincere gratitude to the management, faculty coordinators, student organizers, and participants for making the event a grand success.
