The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Dr. ACS College of Engineering (Dr. ACSCE) organised an industrial visit to BPL Medical Technologies, Bengaluru, on 7 October 2026 for the 5th Semester Biomedical Engineering students.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to gain industry exposure to the medical technology sector and understand the relevance of biomedical engineering in modern healthcare.

The programme aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications by exposing students to industry perspectives and the professional environment of the medical technology field. It also encouraged students to explore emerging technologies and career opportunities in Biomedical Engineering.

The industrial visit formed part of the department’s efforts to promote experiential learning and strengthen students’ understanding of real-world applications in their chosen field.
