Dr. ACS College of Engineering successfully inaugurated the “Finishing School for Employability”, organised in collaboration with Infosys Foundation and ICT Academy, on 28 August 2026 at the CSE Seminar Hall, Dr. ACSCE Campus, Bengaluru.

The programme aims to enhance students’ employability, professional skills, industry readiness, and career preparedness, enabling them to confidently transition from campus to the professional world.
The inauguration was graced by Dr. B. S. Shylaja, Principal, Dr. ACSCE; Dr. T. Senthil Kumaran, Dean (R&D), Dr. ACSCE; and D. Vishnu Prasad, Deputy General Manager, ICT Academy.

The initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to industry-oriented education, skill development, and preparing students for future career opportunities.

Dr. ACS College of Engineering (Dr. ACSCE) proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day, honouring the spirit of freedom, unity, patriotism and nation-building.

The celebration paid tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and reinforced the values of unity, integrity, responsibility and patriotism among students and faculty.

The occasion inspired the Dr. ACSCE community to contribute towards building a stronger, brighter and developed India and to carry forward the spirit of responsible citizenship.

The Department of CSE – Cyber Security, IoT & Data Science, Dr. ACS College of Engineering (Dr. ACSCE) successfully conducted a seminar on “Higher Education Opportunities” on 14th August 2026.
The session was led by Mr. Ameeth Rathode, Director, The Big Leap, Bengaluru, who provided students with valuable insights into higher education pathways, academic opportunities, career planning, and future studies. The seminar helped students understand various opportunities for advanced education and make informed decisions towards their academic and professional growth.

  • Project 2: AI Image Caption Generator using the Hugging Face BLIP Model

The Day 3 session provided participants with in-depth knowledge of deep learning, neural networks and computer vision, along with practical hands-on experience in developing AI-powered vision applications.

Day 4 & 5

Dr. ACS College of Engineering (Dr. ACSCE), in association with the IEEE Student Branch, successfully conducted a 5-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “AI–ML & Emerging Technologies” from 10th to 14th August 2026.
Organized by the Department of CSE – IoT & AI/ML, the FDP provided faculty members with valuable insights into Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging technologies, enhancing their knowledge and equipping them with future-ready skills.
The program featured sessions by industry experts, including Ms. Shwetha N – Team Leader, Opteamix India Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Tejeshwara B M – Data Scientist, Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India; and Mr. Vishwanath Modi – Senior Corporate Trainer & AI/Emerging Technologies Trainer, Bitstreamlo Technologies.
The five-day program offered an enriching platform for knowledge sharing, professional development, technology awareness, and industry-academia learning, empowering faculty members to integrate emerging technologies into teaching and academic practices.
