About the Talk:
The Technical Talk titled “Aircraft Icing and its Effects” was organized to enrich the knowledge of Aerospace students to get exposure on Basics of Aircraft Ice accretion and analysis.
The program was started at 2.00 PM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by introduction of the resource person Dr. L. Prince Raj by Mr. D. Suresh, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about the fundamentals and types of ice accretion in aircrafts.
In between interaction with students and questionnaire to test the ability of students and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skills through different case studies. Finally, the seminar was ended with vote of thanks by Class Representative.

The lecture started at 11:30 AM, on 25-02-2020. Mr. Bernard Raja was felicitated by our HOD, Dr. H. S. Siddesha and also he introduced our Chief Guest. The guest started the session with the introduction of Focus Path, the purpose of the firm. He explained the importance of the various CAE tools used in industry. Also he explained about how Focus Path has helped various MNC’s in reaching their goals and achieve higher heights. He mainly focused on the importance of CATIA, its uses in Aeronautical and Aerospace industries.

Day 1st-Inauguration Session
FDP was inaugurated on 30th Jan, 2020 by Mr.Venkatesha B S Murthy, worthy centre coordinator south west zone heartfulness institute Bangalore, along with Dr. M S Murali, Principal of ACS College of engineering.
Dr. M S Murali has welcomed all the dignitaries and delegates. In his welcome speech, he highlighted the importance and objectives of organizing this faculty development programs. Dr.T Senthil kumaran , Local program coordinator, spoke about the FDP and universal human values.Dr. C.S Pillai, first year coordinator, introduced the chief guest Mr. Venkatesha B S Murthy, worthy center coordinator south west zone heartfulness institute Bengaluru. Dr.Jyoti Metan introduced the resource persons Mr. shivashankar and Ms. shivani Agrawal for the following program. Keynote speaker of this session, Prof Mr. Venkatesha B S Murthy shared his views with the faculty on the theme of the FDP. At the end, the inaugural session was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Dr. V. Mareeswari, HOD, CSE, ACSCE.
On the first day, in the forenoon, Mr. Shiva shankar kantheti explained the need and relevance of this FDP and focused more on the transition of students from adolescents to youth. He deliberated more on the desires of human beings and explained in detail about the difference between the value education and moral education.
The afternoon session was handled by Mr. Shiva Shankar kantheti who talked about the basic needs of human beings and explained the predominant factors in fulfilment. He also talked in detail about the philosophy of right understanding and right feeling of individuals. This followed by a group discussion on the role of education and competence.

Day 2nd Session
On the second-day, in the forenoon session, Ms.shivani Agrawal started with the listing of desires and differentiates between body and self and then it continued by Mr .Shiva Shankar explained and discussed the importance of mutual happiness and mutual prosperity and proceeded to give a detailed analysis of realization and understanding. He also discussed in detail about the relationship and harmony in human life.
The second-day afternoon session was handled by Mr. Shiva shankar and concentrated more on feelings in the relationship from foundation value to complete value. He discussed various human values in details like trust, respect, affection, care, guidance, reverence, glory, gratitude and love. Each value was explained with practical importance and followed by the experience sharing of participants.

Day 3rd Session
On the third day Mr. Shiva shankar kantheti introduced the concepts related to responsibility to society and harmony in life.
At the end, the valedictory session was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Dr. M S Murali, Principal, ACSCE in which he has been paid his gratitude towards all the dignitaries who has spared their time and come from a far distance places to share their expertise with the participants. He also thanks the media persons for their continuous coverage of the entire programme.

Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) has been in the forefront of bonding Industry – Academia linkage and is continuously taking several initiatives and offering a platform for Indian Academia institutions to participate in its prestigious IMTEX – Indian Machine Tool Exhibitions every year. At IMTEX FORMING 2020, IMTMA provides an opportunity for Indian Academic / R&D Institutions to show case their R&D capabilities in Metal working field. This participation will be through display of four posters and product demonstration from each institution. IMTMA will provide the display space to selected institution/s free of charge. About the Programme:
Institution Innovation councils at institutes are envisioned an instrumental role to drive innovation and startup ecosystem at campus while connecting with ecosystem enablers at regional and national level. MHRD’s Innovation Cell invited all IICs, those have upgraded/completed their council as per the IIC 2.0 norms to participate this training was hosted by ACS College of Engineering at Bangalore on 26th and 27th Feb 2020.
AICTE/MHRD’s Innovation Ambassador Training Program for SWRO organized by Institution Innovation Council and MHRD’s Innovation Cell and hosted by ACS College of Engineering on 26th and 27th February 2020 at ACS convention center, RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions. In the Inaugural function the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honor were welcomed on stage by the hosts. An invocation song was presented by the students of ACSCE to evoke the almighty. The program was started solemnly with the lightning of the lamp by the dignitaries.
The panel of Dignitaries consisted of Chief Guest Mr.B.Sampath Rao-Chief Scientist and Joint Head, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, Guest of Honour Mr. Dipan Kumar Sahu-National IIC Coordinator, Dr.K.Elangovan – Asst.Innovation Director, Mr.Pankaj Pandey- SWRO Zonal coordinator, Mr.Ankush Sharma –Innovation Officer and Distinguished Guests Dr.G.Srinivas Joint Secretary UGC, SWRO Bengaluru and Padmashree Prof. R.M. Vasagam, Former vice chancellor Anna University. The gathering was addressed in the presence of Dr.S.Vijayanand, Executive Director- RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions, Dr.S.Jeyabalan, Special officer- RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions, Sri.C.N Seetharam retd.IAS, and Dr.G.Vinoth, Executive Advisor-RajaRajeswari Business Incubator, Dr.T.Chandrasekar, Principal-RajaRajeswari College of Engineering. The welcome address was presented by Dr.M.S.Murali, Principal, ACS College of Engineering. He stated that he was honored to welcome the Guests and the gathering and was surprised by the enthusiasm and interest of the faculty members.
The Guests were felicitated by the Dr.S.Vijayanand, Executive Director- RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions, Sri C N Seetharaman Retd.IAS, Chief Executive Officer- RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions and Dr.Naveen S, Principal-RRMCH.
A special address was given by Dr G Vinoth, Executive Advisor, RRBI. He addressed the importance of the training program and the need for startups and existing potential opportunities in the current global market. He also thanked RRGI management for giving this opportunity to conduct the training program in our campus.
Presidential address was given by Dr.S.Vijayanand, Executive Director- RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions. He welcomed all the delegates, participants and thanked AICTE and MHRD’s Innovation Cell for giving opportunity to host this training program. He addressed the major achievements of RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions and he quoted Chairman Dr.A.C.Shanmugam’s motto which says that the institution wants to create job creators rather than job seekers highlighting the fact that our chairman too had envisioned innovation.
Keynote address was delivered by Mr.Dipan Kumar Sahu, National IIC Coordinator. He highlighted the work carried out by the Innovation Council under the Ministry of MHRD. He informed the fact that Indian HEIs are lacking in innovation and start-up mentor capacity to guide students on IPR, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Institutions Innovation council of MHRD’s Innovation Cell aims to build mentorship capacity of IIC members through a series of training programs and designate the trained IIC members as “IIC – Innovation Ambassador”.
Inaugural address was delivered by Dr.K.Elangovan, Asst.Innovation Director, MIC, Govt of India. He unveiled the training themes of the program. He addressed the role of mentor in their respective IICs, and how to support to other IICs as resource person in organizing various programs related to innovation and startup and spread the message of innovation & start-up among the students and faculties.
A brief speech about the Ambassador Training Program and role of an IIC’s Innovation Ambassador was delivered by Mr.Pankaj Pandey, SWRO Zonal coordinator. In his speech he urged to spread the message of innovation and start up among the students and faculties
Special Guest Mr.B.Sampath Rao-Chief Scientist and Joint Head, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories addressed the importance of Innovation and entrepreneurship in our country. He stated our Prime minister’s vision towards Innovation and entrepreneurship in this event.
Distinguished Guest address was delivered by Dr.G.Srinivas Joint Secretary UGC, SWRO Bengaluru. He represented on this event on behalf of University Grants Commission. He addressed the important role of IIC’s and how to play as a mentor or guide young minds in their pursuit of Innovation and entrepreneurship and equally crucial for mentors to have the adequate mentoring skills. Finally a vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.T Chandrashekhar Principal RRCE. He acknowledged the efforts of volunteers, faculties and coordinators and thanked the esteemed guests for their presence. This was followed by the National Anthem being played as a tribute to our Nation.
Around 400+ faculty members were participated in this event from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu and Andhra institutions. Institution’s Innovation Council established institutions faculty members were nominated through IIC portal and Non IIC faculty members were registered through google form created by ACS College of Engineering.
