Department of Civil Engineering organized a two days “National Conference On Recent Advancements on Civil Engineering-2019” on 8th and 9th May 2019 in collaboration with Indian Concrete Institute (ICI-KBC)and Association Of Consulting Civil Engineers (ACCE-I). The program was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. Radhakrishna, Secretary, ICI-BC, HOD Civil, R.V College of Engineering and Guest of Honor Dr. Benny Joseph, Principal, Vimal Jyothi Engg College, Kerala, Dr. Gopalakrishna Nair, Rector, RRGI and Dr.M.S.Murali, Principal, ACSCE at Seminar Hall 2 at 9:30AM. Delegates, research scholars and faculties, were participated in the event from different states of south india. The event was started at 9.30 am with an invocation song, followed by welcome of the chief guest and guest of honor, Rector, RRGI and Principal, ACSCE by Head of the department Dr.D.L.Venkatesh Babu and addressed the gathering about the conference. The inauguration is concluded with vote of thanks by coordinator Dr. S. Kavitha.
