About the Program :In 1986, the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) asked the Government of India to designate 28 February as National Science Day which the then Govt. of India accepted and declared the day as National Science Day in 1986.
The Department of Aerospace Engineering has celebrated the “National Science Day” on 8th March 2022in honor of C V Raman Effect Discovery.
The Innovative Project Contest had been conducted to help the students to develop their creativity and their skill sets. It also boosts their self-esteem, motivates them to become better and makes them mentally strong.Total of 30 students from 2nd Year Aerospace Engineering students were excited to participate in the event. Six teams were displayed and demonstrated their projects to the judge’s panel. The panel members are as follows,

- Dr. Achintya Krishna Sarkar, Professor of Aeronautical Engineering, ACSCE
- Prof. P.Soma, Associate Professor of Aeornautical Engineering, ACSCE.
At the end of the session, the winners of the competition were appreciated with the prizes and participation certificates were distributed to all the participants. Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly exciting and interesting.
