The Inaugural Function of the IIT Mandi Certified Gen AI Business Innovation Course, organized in collaboration with iHUB and HCI Foundation, was held on 06.02.2026 at ACS College of Engineering, Bengaluru.
The event was graced by the Principals of ACSCE and RRCE, along with the Registrar , Vice Principal, Heads of all depts ,coordinators and students marking the formal launch of the programme and reaffirming the institution’s commitment to industry-aligned, technology-driven education.
In alignment with national initiatives and the vision of India celebrating this year as the “Year of Artificial Intelligence,” the programme aims to promote AI awareness, capacity building, and responsible adoption of AI technologies among students.
The technical orientation was delivered by the trainers Mr. Ajai Sabari Gireesh, Mr. Vimal, and Mr. Jashwanth, who provided insights into Generative Artificial Intelligence, covering core concepts such as machine learning fundamentals, deep learning models, large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, data-driven decision-making, AI-enabled automation, and ethical considerations.
The trainers outlined the structure of the 10-day intensive training programme, which includes hands-on tool-based sessions, real-world case studies, and mini-projects aimed at developing competencies in AI-driven business innovation, problem-solving, and application development, thereby enhancing students’ industry readiness and entrepreneurial capabilities.
The sessions were highly interactive, combining technical expertise with entrepreneurial vision — preparing students to become future-ready AI innovators. A heartfelt thanks to all resource persons, partners, faculty coordinators, and enthusiastic participants who made this program a grand success
