About the Event
The Hands on training session on “HIFUN Software” was organized to make the Second and Third year Aerospace students understand the tools and to practice the HIFUN Software.
The program was started at 9.30 am. Ms. Nisarga of Third Year Aerospace Engineering welcomed the gatherings and the Chief Guest. Dr. P. Theerthamalai, Dean delivered the presidential address and greeted the resource person with the Bouquet. Ms. Aishwarya of Third Year Aerospace Engineering introduced the chief guest. The resource person handled a very useful session on HIFUN Software.
The resource person outlined the following points.
• Various fluid flow problems of aerospace engineering.
• CFD Software packages available.
• Features of HIFUN software.
• Installation and User Interface requirements of HIFUN software.
• Processing and Post Processing steps in problem solving.
• Case Study problems for Hands on training.
At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skills. Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly informative and interesting.
