Airforce Technical College Visit
Date : 11th October 2018
Time : 9.30 AM to 02.00 PM
Venue : AFTC, Jalahalli, Bangalore
No. of Participants : 33 (ASE), III Semester Students + Two AS Staffs,
Outcome of the Program :Students visited AFTC and got an exposure to see the present Indian Airforce achievements. The visit started at 9.00AM.
Students got the Exposure on
- Live MIG 21 and 27 Aircraft
- Flight Simulators
- Missiles, Bombs and Radar Systems
- Aircraft Systems
- Ejection System
- Library
- Aircraft Structures
- History of Indian AFTC
In the visit, students had a visual exposure about different fighter aircrafts and various parts. During the visit the AFTC faculty has given the demonstration about fighter aircrafts, Aircraft Engines, Flight Simulators of Sukhoi Aircraft, Systems like Basic Six Instruments, HUD, MFD and Gyroscopes. The students were expressed that this program was highly useful to them to understand the journey of Indian Airforce and as well as to gain the knowledge on aircraft sub-systems. The visit finished by 2.00pm after taking the opinion and feedback from students.
