About the Program :The technical seminar titled “Applications of Drones and HAPS and possible role of AI/Robotics” was organized to enhance the knowledge of Aerospace Engineering students in Design, Development and applications of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and also the role of Artificial Intelligence / Robotics in UAVs.
The program was started at 10.30 am with the welcome speech by student representative Mr. Srinidhi, IV year. Ms. Sirunjana, II year student introduced the resource person and the Principal, Dr. M. S. Murali, ACSCE greeted the resource person with the Memento. The resource person handled a very interesting session about the design and developments of UAVs and career opportunities in UAV field. The resource person outlined the following points.
- UAV design and potential applications
- Use of AI technologies in UAV design
- Career prospects of UAV systems.
- Use of UAVs for agricultural advancements
- Software used in UAVs.
At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts in the topic and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skill in UAV design and other technical domains to enhance their employability. Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly informative and interesting. Finally the seminar ended with the vote of thanks by final year student Mr. Padmanaban.
