The Flight Simulator was inaugurated by Mr. Lakshminarayanan, Vice-President, Bengaluru International Airport Limited, Bengaluru on 16.02.2022 at 11.00 AM. Mr. Ramesh Babu, Managing Director, Raydynamics Pvt. Ltd., has demonstrated the operations of Flight Simulator. Apart from that various aircraft models were exhibited to the visitors.

At 11.30 AM, the students and other dignitaries were assembled in auditorium for the technical talk event. Ms.Pratheeksha, 2nd year Aerospace Engineering student has compered the whole event. Chief Guests, Principal, Heads of the Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering and a student representative lit the lamp to start the event. Ms. Sinchana, 2nd year Aerospace Engineering student welcomed the notables and the participants. Then Dr. M. S. Murali, Principal felicitated the occasion with his warmth speech and honored both the Chief Guests (Mr. Lakshminarayanan& Mr. Ramesh Babu) with Bouquet, Shawl and Memento.

As per Visvesvaraya Technological University norms, ACS College of Engineering has conducted Induction program for the First Year Engineering Students of about two weeks. There were various activities, technical and motivational talks and competitions were organized in the event of induction program. The students who won the prizes in solo and group competition were appreciated with trophy and medals. Then the main segment of the event, a technical talk by Chief Guest Mr. Lakshminarayanan has started. He covered various key points about Infrastructure and Sustainability at Airport. Some of the important points were highlighted by the resource person are as follows;

• Layout of Airport
• Asset Management in Airport
• Water and Air Control in Airport operations
• Waste Management
• Electrical Distribution systems in Airport
• Avionics and Air Traffic Control systems
• Career opportunities in Airports

At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts in the topic and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skill in Airport Management. Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly motivational and interesting. Finally the event ended with the vote of thanks by Second year Aerospace Engineering student Ms.Srujana.
