Training & Placement Cell Activities

The Training and Placement Department undertakes the following activities to achieve the desired results and set targets:
  1. Campus Recruitment Activities
    • Placement of students through On-Campus, Pooled Campus, and Off-Campus recruitment drives.
    • Coordination with reputed companies for internships, PPOs, and full-time roles.
  2. Industry-Oriented Training Programs
    • Organization of In-Plant Training for students in industries during summer and winter vacations.
    • Facilitation of industrial exposure programs aligned with academic curricula.
  3. Live Projects & Industry Projects
    • Providing Live Project support to final-year students in collaboration with industries.
    • Guidance for industry-defined problem statements and real-time project execution.
  4. Academia–Industry Interaction
    • Continuous interaction with industries through MoUs, guest lectures, workshops, and expert talks.
    • Industry participation in curriculum design and skill development initiatives.
  5. Skill Development & Employability Training
    • Conducting training in Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Soft Skills, and Technical Skills.
    • Resume writing, mock interviews, group discussions, and personality development programs.
  6. Pre-Joining Learning Activities
    • Organizing pre-joining training modules to prepare placed students as per company requirements.
    • Bridging skill gaps before students join their respective organizations.
  7. Alumni Engagement Activities
    • Active involvement of alumni in mentoring, career guidance, and placement support.
    • Alumni talks on industry trends, career paths, and higher studies.
  8. Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Cell Activities
    • Encouraging entrepreneurship through start-up awareness programs, innovation cells, and incubation support.
    • Conducting workshops on business planning, funding opportunities, and start-up ecosystems.
  9. Career Counselling & Higher Education Guidance
    • Counselling students on job opportunities, career choices, and industry expectations.
    • Guidance for higher studies, competitive exams, and certifications.
  10. Industry Visits & Exposure Programs
    • Assisting students during industry visits to gain practical insights into industrial operations.
    • Exposure to corporate culture, work ethics, and emerging technologies.
  11. Assessment & Feedback Mechanism
    • Collecting feedback from recruiters and alumni to improve training strategies.
    • Continuous assessment of student performance and employability skills.
  12. Placement Data Management & Reporting
    • Maintaining detailed records of placements, internships, and recruiter feedback.
    • Preparation of reports for NAAC, NBA, and other accreditation requirements.
