About the Event

This Webinar on “Space Technology Application – Reach the Unreached”was organized in view of Dr. Satish Dhawan Birthday Celebration to motivate young minds in space research and related activities.

Program was started at 07:00PM with the welcome address by Ms. Sangeetha of IV-year Aerospace Engineering. Then Dr. P. Theerthamalai, Dean,introduced the resource person and felicitated the program.

The resource person handled a very informative session and highlighted the following points,

• Evolution of Launch vehicles in ISRO
• Eminent Persons in Indian Space
• National Space Systems
• Mission Phase Operations
• Space Technology Applications
• Opportunities for engineering graduates in Space Industries.

At the end of the session, students interacted with the resource person to clarify their doubts in the topic and the resource person motivated the students to enhance their skills and focus on space applications.Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly informative and interesting. Finally, the session ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. R. Mukesh, Head of the Department.
