About the Speech :

The Motivational Speech titled “Role of Budding Researchers – Indigenous Technologies and its Proven Potential” was organized to motivate the Aerospace students to get exposure in the various activities and labs of DRDO.

The program was started at 12.00 PM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by introduction of the resource person Mr. O.R. Ashwin Chandar, Scientist F, Advanced Systems Laboratory, Hyderabad by Mr. Siva, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about the role of budding engineers in the defence sector and motivated the students to become a Technology Trend Setter and not a Technology Follower.

In between interaction with students and questionnaire to test the knowledge of students and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skills for getting into the DRDO. Finally, the speech was ended with vote of thanks by Dr. R. Mukesh Professor.

Innovative Project Contest

About the Program :

In 1986, the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC) asked the Government of India to designate 28 February as National Science Day which the then Govt. of India accepted and declared the day as National Science Day in 1986.

The Department of Aerospace Engineering has celebrated the “National Science Day” on 8th March 2022in honor of C V Raman Effect Discovery.

The Innovative Project Contest had been conducted to help the students to develop their creativity and their skill sets. It also boosts their self-esteem, motivates them to become better and makes them mentally strong.Total of 30 students from 2nd Year Aerospace Engineering students were excited to participate in the event. Six teams were displayed and demonstrated their projects to the judge’s panel. The panel members are as follows,

At the end of the session, the winners of the competition were appreciated with the prizes and participation certificates were distributed to all the participants. Students expressed their gratitude that the program was highly exciting and interesting.

8th Varushabhishekam of Sri Rajarajeswari Temple

As every year, this year also the varushabhishekam was organized to the goddess Sree Rajarajeswari Devi at the temple located in the campus of RRMCH.

After 2 years of fraught with the pandemic, it was a bit ease for this year to celebrate the customary puja. Hence the varushabhishekam took place on a grand scale for continues 3 day from 17th March, 2022 to 19th March, 2022. This included all pujas like Ganapathi Homa, Vasthu Homa, Sudarshana Homa, Navagraha Homa, Lalita Sahasranama Parayana, Chandi Homa, Cow Puja with maha prasadam.

Dr. A C Shanmugam, Chairman, RRGI, Smt Lalitha Lakshmi, Trustee, MCET, all the Management and the staff from Rajarajeswari Group of Institution took part in this auspicious celebration with immense devotion.
