Dr. ACS College of Engineering, in association with the IEEE Bangalore Section and IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), is organizing a Poster & Video Making Competition as part of the IEEE WIE Day 2026 Celebrations.
The celebrations aim to encourage innovation, creativity, leadership, and technical excellence while promoting the active participation of students in engineering and technology.

The hackathon aims to promote innovative solutions in Frontier Technologies for MSMEs, offering participants an opportunity to transform their ideas into impactful products with expert mentorship and financial support.

Industrial Visit GTTS

Venue: Government Tool room & Training Centre, A Society of Government of Karnataka Date: 14.10.2025 (Tuesday) Time: 11.00 A.M. to 2.00 P.M. Program Objective The industrial visit is a key education experience designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industrial application for students. Its primary objective is to allow students to observe the real-world working environment, witness the actual implementation of engineering principles, and gain firsthand exposure to the machinery, processes, and industry best practices in action. The visit also aims to expose students modern tools and technologies, help them understand organizational structure and provide a platform for interaction with industry professionals, thereby fostering career awareness, enhancing professional skills like communication and team work, and ultimately motivating them toward life long learning and informed career choices in their discipline.

“Green Roots, Bright Future – Plantation Program 2026” on World Environment Day

The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Dr. ACS College of Engineering successfully organized “Green Roots, Bright Future – Plantation Program 2026” on 05 June 2026 in celebration of World Environment Day at the Dr. ACSCE Campus.

The program was conducted with the objective of promoting environmental awareness, encouraging sustainable practices, and inspiring students to contribute towards building a greener and healthier future. Aligned with the World Environment Day theme, “Inspired by Nature. For Climate, For Our Future,” the initiative emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and collective responsibility towards protecting natural resources.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, students, faculty members, and staff, who actively took part in planting saplings across the campus. The plantation drive served as a meaningful step towards enhancing green cover and fostering environmental stewardship among young minds.

Addressing the participants, the dignitaries highlighted the significance of environmental sustainability and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. They emphasized that every tree planted today contributes to a healthier ecosystem and a sustainable future for generations to come.

The plantation program not only strengthened environmental consciousness among students but also reinforced the values of social responsibility and community service promoted by the National Service Scheme.

Dr. ACS College of Engineering remains committed to nurturing environmentally responsible citizens through such impactful initiatives and continues to encourage active participation in programs that contribute to the well-being of society and the environment.

Model Exhibition on “Biology for Engineers”

The Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Aerospace Engineering (ASE), and Computer Science & Engineering – Cybersecurity (CSE-CY) at Dr. ACS College of Engineering jointly organized a Model Exhibition on “Biology for Engineers” on 05 June 2026 at the 3rd Floor Seminar Hall, Dr. ACSCE Campus.

The exhibition served as an interdisciplinary platform for students to explore the integration of biological concepts with engineering principles. Through innovative models and project demonstrations, students showcased their understanding of how engineering solutions can contribute to advancements in healthcare, biotechnology, sustainability, and other emerging fields.

The event encouraged creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students while highlighting the growing importance of interdisciplinary learning in modern engineering education. Participants presented a variety of models that demonstrated the practical applications of biology in engineering, offering valuable insights into real-world challenges and technological solutions.

The exhibition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, making it a vibrant learning experience. The event successfully fostered innovation and promoted the application of engineering knowledge to biological and societal challenges, reinforcing Dr. ACS College of Engineering’s commitment to experiential learning and academic excellence.
