The Department of Aeronautical Engineering organized an Industrial Visit to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Heritage Centre and Aerospace Museum, Bengaluru, on 21st May 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with a real-time exposure to the rich legacy and technological advancements in the Indian aerospace sector. A total of 56 students from various semesters, accompanied by faculty members Mr.Dhanyaprakash and Mr Dharmadurai, participated in the visit.

The Department of Aeronautical Engineering organized an Alumni Talk on UAV Piloting Skills and Career Insights on 20th March 2025 at the AE Seminar Hall. The session aimed to provide students with real-time insights into the field of drone operations and UAV piloting, delivered by one of the department’s proud alumni (2020-2024 Batch), Mr. Hemanth G Reddy, currently working as a Drone Pilot at Vector Wings Technologies. The event began with a welcome address by the coordinator, Mr. Albert Allen D Mell, who introduced the resource person and highlighted the objective of the talk. Mr. Hemanth G Reddy shared his professional journey, beginning from his academic foundation at the
institution to his current role in drone technology and piloting.
