OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM:

The program objective was to educate the faculties of ACSCE, who are not knowing kannada language, some who are not able to write or recognize kannada. Many volunteers involved in this two day program. Copy writing books were distributed to candidates and made them to write in the books. Candidates enjoyed the session remembering their childhood memories. Candidates actively involved in the program and also did their home work. At the end of the program many candidates were able to recognize, read and write kannada.

The ACS Career Guidance Cell is going to organize the Program Civil Services “IAS”.

The orientation day programme was organised for first year students of engineering at ACS College of Engineering. The function was presided by C N Seetharam an retd. IAS Officer. The Principal Dr. M S Murali and Vice Principal Prof. R Elangovan were also the chief dignitaries for the function. The programme started with lightening lamp followed by invocation by Ramya R, a student of Biomedical Engineering. The Vice principal welcomed the gathering. The Principal addressed students with the motto “Be the job Creators, not the Job Seekers”. The chief guest delivered an inspirational speech by taking example of his own childhood and student days. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Selvanandam, HOD of Physics.

The orientation day started with the oriental speech by Principal. The Principal gave guidelines about engineering to all the students. All the Departmental heads delivered a brief introduction and activities which takes place in their respective departments.

The entire programme was co-ordinated by the students Divya susheel and Varini of Bio-Medical Engineering.

The classes of IV year (VII Semester) for the academic year 2016-17 will commence from 25ht July 2016 on-wards.

NDRF is happy to announce the 47th All India Student Design Competition – 2016 on behalf of the IE (I). The competition is open to students studying in Final/Pre-Final years leading to BE / BTech / ME / MTech /MS or equivalent courses in engineering or technology and also to students who have cleared their atleast section-A of the IEI. The details of the scheme, the general conditions of entry and form for participant’s details (to be filled) are herewith sent. The last date for receiving the proposals for the competition is 20th August 2016 (at least a brief abstract of the project proposal by mail, followed within a week latest the complete application).

The Academic Calendar of the University for the ODD Semester for the academic year 2016-17 is hereby noticed as enclosed.
