About the Programme:
Abhinaya .S gave the basics of labview and relped the students to implement simple logic circuits, logic gates and some Boolean expressions.
Labview is a tool to understand and analyze the Analog and Digital circuits, this gives us an easy understanding of the circuits and operation of the circuits. Hands on experience were provided and all the students had an individual hand on. The events were attended by all the Electronics and Communication Engineering students in the laboratory of the department.
Technical Talk – Nanotechnology and its Applications

About the Programme:
A technical talk on “Nanotechnology and its Applications” was conducted for the students of ECE by Prof. Mohan Rao.
Nanotechnology is the engineering of functional systems at the molecular scale. This covers both current work and concepts that are more advanced. In its original sense, nanotechnology refers to the projected ability to construct items from the bottom up, using techniques and tools being developed today to make complete, high performance products.
The technical talk thus inspired some students to understand the basic concepts of Nano Technology.

On behalf of our honorable chairman’s birthday, NSS unit of ACSCE has conducted the program of “DISTRIBUTION OF STUDY MATERIALS, KIT AND FRUITS FOR ORPHANAGE CHILDRENS”, of SATYA SAI MAHILA CHARITABLE TRUST, Bengaluru, on 24th September 2016, from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm. NSS unit is really thankful to all the faculty members and non teaching Staffs who have helped us directly or indirectly. During the programme, we have distributed many necessary things like pens, pencils, erasers, books, soaps, fruits etc. to more than 30 Orphanage students. At the end of the programme Students wished our beloved Chairman a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

About the Programme:
The technical talk titled “Current Trends in IOT & Networking” and “IOT & its Applications” was organized to enrich the knowledge of ECE & CSE students to get exposure on IOT, Networking and Applications with its recent development in industrial practice.
The program was started at 10.00 AM with formal inaugural function, HOD/ECE welcomed the gathering, and HOD/CSE welcomed the resource person with flower bouquet, ECE faculty addressed about Resource person with his brief profile. After the brief about resource person the dais was handed over to the resource person.. The inaugural function ends with vote of thanks by the convener of the one day workshop.
The Technical talk session started at 10.15 AM and the resource person Mr. Yashavantha Nagaraju handled the interactive session to the ECE students about the current trends in IOT and Networking with the recent developments in industry. This session ends at 12.45 PM. The second session starts at 1.30 P.M with CSE students and he resource person shared the information and the domain knowledge about IOT and its Applications. In the interactive session with CSE students the resource person addressed about the following areas.

Utilization of Internet
Data Collection Engine
The workshop session ends at 4.00 PM with student feedback. At the end of session students were expressed very positively that it was a useful event to understand the knowledge recent development in IOT and it.
Technical Talk – Design and fabrication of PCB

About the Programme:
The workshop was conducted for the 3rd and 5th sem ECE students under EPIC. The main objective of this workshop was to provide practical approach of fabrication process for students.
It enhanced the thinking ability of students and it provided clear picture of real-time application.
The workshop had two levels – basic and advanced level.
In basic level, students were trained to plot the layout in system using software and the circuit was designed by the students only.
In advanced level, the actual fabrication process was taught and was implemented on the printed circuit boards.

The technical talk “IOT & its applications “was held for the students of Electronics & Communication Department. Shreyas, was successful in reaching the students of all academic years. He gave an insight into the concepts of Internet of things and its presence in all domains.
The examples ranged from smart connected homes to wearable’s to healthcare. It enhances the comforts of our lives and also gives us more control by simplying routine work life and personal talks.
The highlight of the talk was that the potential of IOT markets is huge and some domains nature faster than the rest.

About the Programme:
A technical talk on ARM7 processor was conducted for the students of ECE by Mr. Sanjay Kumar Bhagat of Jyothi labs.
Processor is a key word in all walks of life and the basics of ARM7 Processor is studied in the course subjects.
This generation introduced 16 bit instruction set providing improved code density compared to previous designs. The design uses Von Neumann architecture.
It is a versatile processor designed for mobile devices and other low power electronics.
The technical talk thus inspired some students to understand and undergo a workshop on ARM7 Processor
