CTDS, organized a one day “Partners meet” on 12th OCT 2019 at Kadamba Hall RRMCH, the key objective of the meet is to create a platform for the industry leaders, students and the teaching fraternity to meet and discuss mutually. The interactions are focused on the on-going trends in industry, student innovations and opportunities and areas where the students and industries can jointly work together for mutual benefits. This would result in establishing productive relationships and share expertise and talents with in them. Representatives from more than 50 companies CEO’s, Directors, Industry Representatives from various Companies and various domains had participated in this meet and contribute towards this initiative. 120 Students Participated From RRCE and ACS College of engineering, 60 Faculties had participated from RRCE and ACS College of engineering.
After Invocation, The program Commenced with welcome address by Dr. R Balakrishna, Principal, RRCE. Sri. Kalyanam Kannan, Director, CTDS Highlighted the significance of this event and advised to the participated students to make use of this opportunity and to have interaction for their betterment in terms of internship, projects, placements & start-ups.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. A.C.Shanmugam, Chairman, RRGI informed that he was very much delighted to have the presence of number of CEO’s/ Industry Representatives besides chief guest Dr. Nagahanumaiah, Director, CMTI, Bangalore, Guest of Honors Padma Shri. R. M. Vasagam, Former Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai and Dr. P. Theerthamalai , Former Technology Director , Aerodynamics, DRDL, Hyderabad and other Management representatives along with RRCE and ACSCE Faculty Members. Further he said that Bengaluru has a unique distinction of having more engineering colleges as well as software companies and described to the global level as one of the software and silicon city. In this opinion, only reaching in the class room will not be equal to the practical training and exposure to industry and as such, this platform would assist the prospective engineering students to plan their future life. He said that the students to have an open mind always learn from every one. Waiting to win is common, but working to win is genius. He felicitated to all Guest, and Company Partners present at the Partners meet.
An open panel interactive session was arranged for students and company partners where the students can ask a question to the company partners. The Students gained more useful information in terms of internship, projects, placement, startups, entrepreneur etc.

Seminar on Mechanics of Fluids

About the Visit
The guest lecture titled “Mechanics of Fluids” was organized to enrich the knowledge of Aerospace students to get exposure on fluid mechanics.
The program was started at 02.00 PM with the welcome speech by HOD/AS and followed by introduction of the resource person Mr. R. Srinath by J. Siva, Asst. Prof. ASE. The resource person handled an interactive session about the fundamentals of fluid mechanics. The resource person shared the information about the following topics.
Basic Considerations: Introduction, Dimensions- Modules and physical quantities, Continuum view of gases and liquids, Pressure and Temperature scales, Physical properties of fluids.
Fluid Statics: Pressure distribution in a static fluid, Pressure and its measurement.
In between interaction with students and questionnaire to test the ability of students and the resource person motivated the students to enrich their skills. The students were expressed that this lecture was highly useful to them wrt to Mechanics of Fluids subject. Finally, the seminar was ended with vote of thanks by Ms. Sushmitha Asst. Prof.

About the Event
A one-day technical talk on “Mobile Application” was organized by CSE department at the seminar hall-1 on Tuesday, 1st October 2019 at ACS college of engineering, Bengaluru. Dr. Mareeshwari (HOD,CSE department) welcomes the guest and introduced the programme to all. The technical talk was chaired by Mr.Bertrand Russell, Founder/Director of X-Value Technologies Pvt.Ltd.
On account of the technical talk on “MOBILE APPLICATION” the resource person spoke briefly on mobile application & development with the recent technologies and also told about programming skills what students require to compete in the emerging technical world. He motivated the students to eagerly participate in the events.
The technical talk was very interesting and gave the opportunity to discuss about the recent technologies on mobile application. The basic idea of this event is to enhance the knowledge about Mobile applications to all the participants.
The program was successfully concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr.M.S. Murali (Principal,ACSCE) to the resource person and to all the participants .

The Founders Day 2019
23rd Sep 2019 was observed as “The Founders Day” in RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions.
Commemorating, our beloved chairman Dr. A. C. Shanmugam’s birthday. RajaRajeswari Group of Institutions had organized Community Oriented programs at Primary Health Care (PHC) & Urban Health Care (UHC), donations to the orphanages and awards were given to all Teaching and Non Teaching Staffs who are serving for the Group of the Institutions for more than a decade.

The resource person handled an interactive session about the fundamentals of aerodynamics, missile aerodynamics, different types of missiles and Missiles developed by DRDO. The resource person shared the information about the importance of the following aspects.
