The Department of Basic Science and Humanities conducted an Orientation Program on “Communication Skills and Soft Skills” aimed at enhancing students’ confidence, communication abilities, and professional readiness.
The session was delivered by Mr. Abhimanyu Verma, who shared valuable insights on effective communication, interpersonal skills, workplace behavior, and confidence building. The program was highly interactive, and students participated with great enthusiasm.
The session helped students understand the importance of communication and soft skills in academic and career growth. Overall, the program was informative, engaging, and beneficial for the participants.
Biomedical Engineers’ Day 2025
The Biomedical Engineers’ Day 2025 was organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, ACS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, on 4th December 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the 3rd Floor Seminar Hall, ACSCE. The event was conducted in collaboration with professional bodies such as IEEE and IEEE EMBS, with the objective of promoting awareness, innovation, and professional excellence in the field of biomedical engineering.
The program was graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr. Shyam Vasudeva Rao, Founder and Director of Forus Health Pvt. Ltd., as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Prakash M. S, Professor and HOD, Department of Nephrology, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital, as the Guest of Honour. The event was held under the guidance of respected management and academic leaders, including the Chief Patron, Co-Patron, Executive Director, Principal, Vice Principal, and the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
Major highlights of the celebration included the Project Expo, where students showcased their innovative biomedical projects, and the BME Health Check-up, which emphasized the social responsibility of biomedical engineers toward community health. These activities provided students with an excellent platform to demonstrate technical skills, creativity, and teamwork.
The event was successfully coordinated by faculty members and student coordinators, with enthusiastic participation from students and staff. Overall, the Biomedical Engineers’ Day 2025 was a grand success, fostering academic growth, professional interaction, and increased awareness of the vital role of biomedical engineers in healthcare and society.

The Departments of CSE – Cybersecurity, BCA, and MCA jointly organized an insightful Technical Talk on “Decoding Modern Cyber Security Systems from the Lens of Physical Defence Paradigm” on 22nd November 2025 at ACS College of Engineering.
Mr. Manish Bajpai, a distinguished cybersecurity expert and Co-Founder & COO of NIVETTI Systems, delivered an engaging session that bridged the concepts of physical defense strategies with modern cyber-security mechanisms. He highlighted the importance of layered protection, threat anticipation, real-time monitoring, and resilient system architecture in safeguarding digital infrastructures.
The session provided students with a deeper understanding of cyber threats and the evolving defence technologies used in the industry. The interactive Q&A encouraged learners to think beyond traditional security methods and explore real-world cybersecurity applications.
